Massachusetts, South Carolina homes sell for $3.17 million
In just a 48-hour period, J.P. King sold two luxury homes a privet-shrouded estate near Cape Cod and a luxury lakefront home in South Carolina for a combined $3.17 million.
Hedgebound, a Greek Revival-style home in Truro, Mass., was purchased by John and Anna Endicott, of Los Angeles for $1.9 million. The sale included the home and a carriage house that sellers Skip and Lynda Dickerson had transformed into an office and exercise area.
Two days earlier, J.P. King sold LeJardin, a luxury home in Greenwood, S.C., surrounded by Japanese gardens.
LeJardin seller Randy Dennin, who is moving to Texas, said he was pleased with the sale. The auction process did what we wanted it to, which was to bring closure. If I recall correctly, we had only four tours in 14 months before deciding to move ahead with the auction, and we had five bidders (at the auction), said Dennin.
