J.P. King Auction Company Takes Calabria Ranch Estate Homes to Auction

Scenic Tucson, Arizona Ranch Boasts 44+/- Acres in 5 Properties

Absolute Auction, No Minimums-No Reserves

Tucson, AZ – J.P. King Auction Company announces the approximately 44 acre Calabria Ranch
Estate Homes will be auctioned in five properties on Tuesday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m. (MT) in
an absolute auction with no minimums, no reserves. The scenic destination will host the auction
in the Great Room of the main house on Property #2.

The spectacular five properties include the former home of renowned author Barbara Kingsolver
on Property #1. Kingsolver wrote her debut novel The Bean Trees here, which is considered a
classic literary masterpiece and popular triumph in American fiction.

The properties may be purchased individually, in any combination, or as an entirety. All
properties have private access to the Tanque Verde Wash, with the wash providing breathtaking
views and any number of outdoor activities.

Minutes from downtown Tucson, Calabria Ranch boasts unobstructed views of the breathtaking
Catalina and Rincon Mountains, is home to a Mesquite Bosque habitat, and is a short car ride
away from Saguaro National Park.

“The seller selected J.P. King Auction Company to handle the sale after extensive research of all
the trophy property auction and real estate companies in the nation. The one luxury real estate
company that kept sticking out for Calabria Ranch was J.P. King Auction Company with 100
years in business,” said Tim Burris, Burris Hennessy & Co., who is the seller’s real
estate/auction consultant.

“Luxury real estate auctions are uncommon in Tucson and the seller recognized this while also
recognizing that an absolute auction is the preferred route because the traditional real estate route
averages one to two years on the market. Having a company with the luxury real estate knowhow
for the high end market provides a seamless process within a more reliable timeframe,
which is highly desirable,” explained Burris.

Property #2 is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath home. The home is on approximately 22 acres and
has huge wrap around porches with wood-burning fireplaces for outdoor entertaining. In addition
to the main home, this property also features two guest homes, one a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home
and the other a 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage, and also there is a three stable barn.

Four additional properties will also be offered on auction day. Each property is situated on a lot
ranging in size from 3+/- to 6+/- acres with a main residence, some with guest homes, barns and
other structures. Property #1 is the former home of renowned author Barbara Kingsolver.

Property tours are available by appointment beginning February 10, 2015, by contacting the
