Owned by Ohio Valley Bank Company, the 14,000-square-foot estate was marketed and sold at an absolute auction by J. P. King Auction Company.
In the five-day touring period prior to the auction, 40 interested parties visited the home, with prospective buyers from nine states. The property had nearly 4,000 hits on J. P. King's website.

DIRECTIONS TO PROPERTY
From the intersection of US-460 and WV-598, turn onto WV-598/Bland Road. Travel approximately 3/10 miles and turn right onto Paragon Jewel Street. The home will be on the right (1 Paragon Jewel Street, Bluefield, WV).
Registration begins at 10:00 A.M. (ET). A cashier’s check, in the amount of $10,000.00, will be required to bid. The cashier’s check is to be made payable to the bidder.
AUCTION EVENT & SALE SITE
The auction event begins at 11:00 A.M. (ET). The auction will be held at the Quality Hotel & Conference Center, located at 3350 Big Laurel Highway, Bluefield, WV 24701.
Financing is available through Ohio Valley Bank. All applicants are subject to Ohio Valley Bank’s normal and customary underwriting guidelines. Applicants must be within Ohio Valley Bank’s acceptable guidelines in order to be approved. Terms are as follows:
Interest Rate: 3.50%. Adjustable 5/1 ARM. After the first 5 years the interest rate will adjust to 2.75% above the 1-year Treasury, and will adjust annually thereafter.
Term: Not to exceed 20 years; Loan to Value: Not to exceed 80% of the purchase price.
Payments: Monthly Principal and Interest beginning 30-days after closing.
