J. P. King to Sell 27 Home Sites at Auction, Some Waterfront, Some Absolute

On September 8, J. P. King Auction Company will sell 20 lots on Lake Mason — 10 of which are waterfront — and seven lots on the Baraboo Golf Course. Ten lots will sell absolute with no minimums and no reserves.

BARABOO, WISC. — At a real estate auction on September 8, 20 home sites at Lake Mason and seven lots at the Baraboo Golf Course will sell at a real estate auction. Of the 20 sites on Lake Mason, 10 will sell absolute with no minimums and no reserves. Dan Goff, who will sell the lots through 1st Weber Group, had planned to list the waterfront lots at $199,900 before adding utilities and roadways. He is now offering the completed sites for the first time through an auction with J. P. King Auction Company.

Located minutes from the Wisconsin Dells, Goff says the lots are perfect for those that don’t want to be in the heart of the Wisconsin Dells but prefer to have the convenience of that location. On auction day, five of the waterfront lots will sell absolute along with five water view lots. Each lot is approximately 200x80 feet.

“There’s land preservation around the lake, so it’s a great location for its privacy and for having the piece of mind that it won’t be further developed,” Goff said. “Lake Mason provides some of the best fishing in the area, and there’s really nothing like it in the Dells. It’s a great place.”

Seven lots on the third green of the Baraboo Golf Course will also be offered at the September 8 auction. The 18-hole golf course is located at the base of the Baraboo Bluffs.

Goff has sold cars at auction for 32 years while also developing and selling real estate. With his knowledge of both auctions and real estate, he knew selling his most recent development at auction would be his best option.

“I called J. P. King because of the auctions they’ve conducted in the Wisconsin Dells recently,” Goff said, speaking of the 47 condos at Rhapsode on Lake Delton and at Delton Point that J. P. King auctioned. “Being in the car auction business myself, I recognized J. P. King’s expertise and knew they would get the job done.”
