J. P. King Sells Out Wisconsin Kraus Real Estate and Builders Properties for $5.4 million

Madison, Wisconsin – May 4 2009 – J. P. King Auction Company, the nation’s leading real estate auction marketing firm, managed one of the largest real estate auctions in Wisconsin history on May 2, 2009. J. P. King Auction Company sold out 60 properties for $5.4 million.

The auction took place at the Madison Crowne Plaza with an estimated 300 people in attendance at the auction, attracting 148 registered bidders from Wisconsin, Florida and Iowa.

“The auction was a huge success, as we were able to assist our client in reducing his inventory,” said Craig King, president & CEO of J. P. King Auction Company. “More than 165 groups toured the properties prior to the auction. Many developers haven’t seen this type of real estate traffic in years. The auction crowd was much larger than we anticipated which led to very active bidding and the eventual sell out of the properties.”

Kraus Real Estate and Builders conducted this inventory reduction sale with a variety of newly constructed housing options featuring single-family residences, twin-homes, condominiums and vacant lots.
J. P. King Auction Company will be conducting another real estate auction on June 21st consisting of 46 lakefront condominiums on Lake Delton in Wisconsin Dells.
