Exclusive Haig Point Estate Sells for $1.65 million

Hilton Head Island, SC. – October 26, 2008 – The exclusive Haig Point Island estate home located on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina, recently sold at auction to the highest bidder for $1.65 million. J. P. King Auction Company, the nation’s leading auction marketing firm specializing in luxury properties managed the sale of the home.

The auction took place on site, where approximately 50 people attended the event, which included live music and hors d’oeuvres, according to King. Bidders came from as far away as California, Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Virginia, as well as South Carolina. The winning bidder was from Florida.
